When can babies have Pumpkin?
Pumpkin can be introduced from around 6 months of age, when your baby is developmentally ready to start complementary foods. It has a naturally smooth texture when cooked and a mild, slightly sweet flavour that many babies enjoy, making it a popular first food.

Pumpkin is a good source of beta-carotene, which the body converts into vitamin A to support healthy vision, immune function and growth.

Is there any choking risk?
Pumpkin has a naturally firm texture when raw and can become a choking hazard if it is not cooked thoroughly. Always cook pumpkin until it can be easily mashed with a fork before serving.
