Easy 3-Steps Shrimp & Corn Patties

If you are looking for an easy way to add more variety to your LO’s meals, these Shrimp & Corn Patties are my go-to savoury, naturally sweet, and umami recipe.

I use my daughter's favorite Scallop Powder and Wakame Powder to bring out the natural flavours of the ingredients, without the need to add salt. You can also swap the Wakame Powder for Kombu Powder for a different flavour.

Ingredients

Shrimp and Corn Patties Recipe

1. Blend the prawns, egg, and potato flour until smooth

2. Add the corn, AVIA Scallop Powder, and Wakame Powder. Pulse until just combined.

3. Scoop small portions onto a frying pan and cook until golden and thoroughly cooked.

And tada!

To make this recipe, we used the Tommee Tippee Quick-Cook 6-in-1 Baby Food Maker to make the preparation easier.  You can find Tommee Tippee products at Mothercare Singapore, where AVIA products are also available alongside other selected retail partners!

A safety note for parents: Corn kernels can be a choking hazard for babies under 12 months. For younger babies, blend the corn into a smooth pulp before mixing it with the other ingredients, and make sure the patties are soft, thoroughly cooked, and served in an age-appropriate texture and size.
